My weekend works!

Fluffy had an extra day off school this weekend so that gave me more time to be creative :) I finished my last owl (in orange) so I moved on.....

To fish....hahaha

All were done in regular worsted weaight yarn (red heart).
The bigger one was done holding 2 strands together and using a bigger hook.

And here is the pattern for the fish

The fish were way to fast to do so I looked for the next pattern
A PIG!!!

Piggy pattern ...

Last but not least I stayed up all night for various reasons so I went on the search for a slouchy hat pattern.

If I was to make any changes to the pattern it would be to use a K hook for the brim so it would be a little looser.
here is the pattern

Well that was my weekend in a nutshell. Other than a new coffee mug cozy (one that actually fits LOL)

My owl craze is nearly at an end!

I have spent a bit of time making my little owl army. I have experimented with differant sized hooks, bulk yarn, and crochet thread. I now have nearly made all I was wanting. I have one orange owl left to make in worsted weight. And 2 or 3 in the cotton (colors will be sage green, baby blue and maybe black) unless I find more colored thread :)

Bulky made from Lion Brand's Hometown USA in Oklahoma City Green

And the cotton thread itty bitty's :)

Other than needing to find my orange yarn that is hiding somewhere. And finding the little buttons for the itty bitty's (the noses are just puffy paint for fabric) I am done. ext job is starting the pig army LOL.
The pattern for my army is
The crochet part is exact. I just changed the eyes and beaks a bit.

Afghans, cozies, an owl and a sweater!

I have been a busy little hooker lately LOL. Just in the last week I have done so much. I finished my St. Paddy's afghan for the back of my chair.

I also have been having fun getting new teapots and improving my cozy skills.
Teapot #2 Pink

teapot #3 dark green (and so far my favorite)

The 2 side by side!

The baby afghan and owl I made for a shower today.

The owl was real quick. Took me less than 30 minutes. I will post the link to the pattern later.

And here is the sweater I made on the knitting loom. I had no pattern and did this off the top of my head. I was thinking of Mrs. Weasley and the sweaters she knits for the kids. All differant colors and simply wonderful. Here is Noodle modeling what looks more like the coat of many colors on her HAHAHAHA!

Well that is not all for this week but it is all I have pictures of so far. Current projects for this weekend are. A small army of owls. A few birds (thanks to Lucy at attic24). My spring afghan which is almost done. A St.Paddy bunting for mom. And.... that reminds me to go to the craft store for more yarn hehehe.
